3 of 9 mornings
I've been attending the misa de gallo sinceDec. 16 so my online schedule has shifted from 8-11PM to 6-9AM. Earlier, the priest said something about Kampanerang Kuba. I can't relate. I didn't watch the last 50 or so episodes of KK.
Yesterday, I was online and so was Von. He asked me why was I online so early and I told him it's all because of the simbang gabi. He asked me if I saw any lormanian. ("my nakita k bang lormanian? wala noh?") I told him my exaggerated speculation that lormanians are "satanista". He replied "wag naman sana." He couldn't hear me laugh. Well, at least, lormanians (I am talking about HS lormanians only) are not hypocrites. They are unlike a third of the people who go to mass just so that (a) they could have rights to say "ha! nagsisimbang gabi ako ha!" and/or (b) they could wish for something this Christmas. It's pathetic.
It's our Christmas party tomorrow. I can hardly wait.

We must not believe everything we see or read in the internet. Blogs are sometimes misleading. And so are friendster profiles, myspace profiles or whatever.
There are some people who seem to be impressive and nice when you meet them in a chat room or through a user search in a network.
Since you can't see these people, they can have the time to think about what to type, what to say, what pictures to upload and what files to share. Through, this people can create the person they want to be. Sometimes, "real-time chat" isn't "real".
Admit it or not, we all tend to "consciously package our online selves (bikoy)".

just another day
There were three absent teachers today. Sana laging ganito. at sana yung mga mag-aabsent eh yung mga teachers na: (1)boring magturo at (2)hina-handle yung mga subjects na ayaw ko.
A few minutes before Computer class began, napansin ko namumuti yung kamay ko. So, while sir was discussing CSS and dhtml and CMS, busy ako sa paghahanap ng pulso ko. wala akong maramdaman. jumping gargoyles. bago mag-start yung quiz, sabi ko kay jonee, "may problema ako. di ko mahanap yung pulso ko (tama ba yun?)". nag-react si alvin kaagad. "haha. kaluluwa ka na lang pala." after the quiz, nahanap ko rin. di ko nga lang nabilang nabilang kung ilang pulse/minute.
balik-aral uli ako sa Macromedia Flash MX. mas nadadalian na ako ngayon. di na sya kasing gulo gaya nung unang beses akong gumamit last year.

I'm kind of happy these days. I get more sleeping time. I don't do homeworks at home anymore. I don't have any extra co-curricular activity. I don't have to rush any project or something. No headaches. I love it! bloghopping and chat all night!

nanalo pala si Nene sa Pinoy Big Brother. Sya daw ang big winner. no violent reaction. no "reclaim" (halata bang trip ko ang bulagaan?). basta ako si franzen pa rin ang gusto kong housemate.
ano kayang kalalabasan ng season2 ng PBB? can't wait.
palabas na rin bukas ang etheria. mas maganda kaya yun sa encantadia. we all just have to wait. for the past few days, adik ako sa tv. I'm not doing our assignments nga eh. *The long over-due LCSSHS Insights post*
I wasn’t expecting much of negative (and violent?) reactions regarding the paper when it was still on its layout stage. Today, students are making a big fuss about the contents of ‘Guess Who’. Some are claiming that LCSSHS Insights staffers are using the paper to tell awful (but true) things about people.
I don’t really care. I can’t please all people. If some will like the turn-out of the paper, good. If some people will hate it, hell cares.
It just disappoints me that some student journalists and some people neglect the Journalist’s Creed we swore on oath before we formally assume our positions. It just disappoints me that some people just can’t understand that as members of a school paper such as the Insights, we have a name and credibility to uphold. There are just things which we can’t tell or share with others.

The program went okay. It’s just frustrating that some contestants are using it for another kind of self-expression – something that involves showing your affection for a girl in the middle of your supposed “talent explosion”. It’s not even that “sweet” or “nakakakilig”. To me, the whole thing appeared to be corny and “pagpapapansin”.
Maybe courting a girl is now considered a talent. Aack.

I plan to work on my thesis on our Christmas vacation. Anyways, I’m shifting from an investigatory project to a descriptive research. I wasn’t interested in those alkaloid properties and toxicity thingy, anyways. I just thought that it would be a good exposure for me since I would be taking chemistry and/or biology related course when I go to college.
I guess I will never get to do the majority of the things I want for the rest of my life.

asa comp. lab kami today. free day eh. some of my classmates are ranting about the "friendster ban" in the comp lab. i kind of like it nga eh. friendster is becoming boring na. if it weren't for the messages of zeus and lex, matagal ko nang na-delete yung account ko dun.
